一、汽车模具大小的分类
1. 小型模具≤1000mm

2. 1000mm≤中型模具≤1500mm
汽车内饰中C柱、中央控制台、前后门板、行李箱护板,外饰中车灯、格栅等都属于中型模具范围。

3. 大型模具≥1500mm
汽车内饰中衣帽架、仪表板、仪表板支架、外饰中前后保险杠、侧裙板等都属于大型模具范围。

二、汽车大中型模具设计与常规模具的不同
1. 注塑机吨位大,模具太高时一般都打横注塑。

2. 汽车模一般都是整体式针阀热流道,带时序控制,阀针用油缸控制,整个热流道接线盒,油路接头,时序控制器固定在一块,便于拆装。

常规模具一般都是分体式热流道,阀针由气缸控制,气路需单独加工每个零部件可单独装拆。

3. 大中型汽车模热流道板一般做成方铁形式,节省成本。

4.汽车模小型行位一般铲机与斜边定位块做在一起,增加强度,节省加工。
